Growing up with a mom who practiced and later taught yoga has informed me as a person and teacher. I have practiced yoga for thirty years and in 2019 I graduated from the 500 hour certification program at the Berkeley Yoga Room. Currently I am finishing a 3 1/2 year Yoga therapy program with Essential Yoga Therapy. I have so much gratitude for yoga and I am thankful to be able to share this practice with others. I have experienced through years of practice, yogas profound effect on the mind. My classes offer a slower, intentional flow with time to hold poses, build strength and explore sensation with curiosity. I emphasize showing up where you are, breath awareness, functional movement, honoring rhythms of the body and invite students to move with both steadiness and ease. My goal is that students leave class feeling grounded, supported and more at home in themselves.
