About Acharya Mangalananda
Mangalananda is a direct disciple of the great Indian Saint, Anandamayi Ma, written about in Yogananda's book "Autobiography of a Yogi". He has been associated with India his entire life, and lived in one of Ma's ashrams in India for twelve years. He is an appointed Acharya (LIneage Teacher) of Ma Sharanam Ashram in Central India, and on the Board of Directors of Anandamayi Ma Ashram and Temple in Amherst Massachusetts. He has toured Europe and the US for years giving kirtan concerts and classes. He is joined by his Bay Area kirtan band of wonderful musicians for a rousing night of ecstatic kirtan.
