Naomi found yoga while recovering from a traumatic bike accident. After rowing at Cal, training 4-6 hours per day and constantly giving 110%, she found herself suddenly relearning what her body was capable of and struggling to cope with the healing process. A dear friend took her to yoga and it was on the mat that she found ease, healing, and gratitude for her body, however it showed up that day. Naomi's hopes to help others strike that balance between pushing and nurturing yourself. Her classes are a space to connect to your power, test your limits, and learn to listen to yourself. She believes that yoga is a way for us all to move away from fear, judgement, and comparison towards compassion, connection and gratitude. She loves incorporating lots of healing adjustments and assists to help you deepen your practice. Naomi completed the Lighting the Path 200 hour training (RYT) with Pete Guinosso in March 2015 in a Forrest Yoga Inspired Vinyasa Flow & has been teaching regular weekly classes since March 2016.
